So much has happened while I've been off dA.
I graduated high school a couple weeks ago and at the end of August I'm moving to Alaska. Because this is a time for change in my life (and this account is cluttered with middle school junk), I have decided to move to a new account. The main reason I've been off dA for so long is because my laptop was so terrible, but I used some graduation money to get a new laptop a few days ago and can actually make digital art again!

I should be sleeping but I made my coffee too strong today and am still wired ._.

Anyways, I'm getting my incubator soon and found a person nearby selling Muscovy eggs, AND I AM SO EXCITED. They should hatch around the beginning of summer so I'll have plenty of time to coo over them and when they get older to snuggle them to death and spoil them and bask in their horrific spelling poop and then clean the poop. If anyone has experience with hatching eggs I would love to hear from you.


Also, sorry for the lack of art. I'm stressed out of my mind and I can hardly function. But just one more month ughhhh go away stress. Along with getting slammed with homework and projects, I have a MASSIVE open-ended project due at the end of April, and for mine I'm setting up a park clean-up and I'm terrified of people make it go away.

And last but not least, THE REPTILE CONVENTION IS THIS WEEKEND. I'm going to stare at all the pretties that I can't have and buy junk to spoil my pretties with and try to focus on something other than how school is slowly murdering me.

I'm selling my remaining cichlids and going back to a planted tank c:
The "Easter Bunny" ordered the handsome fish below, and I'm planning on getting some tetras.

It's 3am, I really need to sleep, but I started noticing the first signs of life in my nano reef. I saw some little bristle worms crawling around, some polyps, copepods, and a little tiny shrimp guy. Seeing an ecosystem grow like this is just amazing! I know it's just little things in a really immature aquarium (lol it's barely over a day old), but this stuff is just so fascinating. I can't wait to see what other hitchhikers came in with my live rock. c:
